Changes to My History Page

Short Version: I redesigned the My History page. It's now called My Videos. You can now access anything you want quicker and easier. There's a lot to read here. If you want to skip it and start testing, use your screen reader to navigate to the level 2 heading “Version 1”. Otherwise, continue reading.

When Athina AD describes your video, it gives you 3 outputs. The description in text and audio formats. And a version of your video with the description mixed into it. These are the 3 outputs that Athina AD produces. You can access them anytime you want from your History page.

The History page had a table. Every row contained the video's name, the date it was described, and links to the outputs. To move from one video to another, you'd have to swipe sevral times passing through all the cells in the row until you got to the next one. Also, you couldn't access the outputs in the website. You'd have to download them first.

All that has changed. First we renamed the page to My Videos. Please note that while there are several videos, they are all fake. Nothing is real. They are just here for show. It's just to give you a sense of how the page works.

We also got rid of the table. From now on, every video you described is now displayed as an expandable section. The thing I want you test and give me feedback on is the outputs. In the first design, the outputs are also expandable sections. First swipe to get to the video you want. When you do, doule tap to expand the section. The outputs will appear as expandable sections. Double tap the output you want to listen/read/watch. Depending on which output you double tapped. This is version 1. As for version 2, same concept but the outputs appear as tabs.

So, the difference between the two designs is how you access the outputs. This is what you're here to tell me. Are you a fan of version 1 or version 2?
