My videos
The My Videos page is where all the outputs of your described video land. If you use Athina AD, then you will know this page as My History. It has been renamed to My Videos, and the entire interface has been redesigned. The aim, of course, is to make it easier to use and improve your experience when navigating through this page.
We have 3 different interfaces for you to try. There's also a feedback form after every interface. At the end of the page, another feedback form asks which interface you liked the most and why.
Let's begin!
First, a quick review. When you get your video described, you receive the output as a video, an audio file, a text file, or a combination of them. It depends on the output you want.
All of your outputs are saved on the My History page, which is now called My Videos. The old My History page was a table. Every row contained the name of the video, the date it was described, and links to the outputs that were generated. The links allowed you only to download the outputs. You could not watch the video, listen to the audio, or read the text directly on the page.
To move from one row to the next, you had to swipe through the entire content of the first row.
But now all that has changed. Every video is presented as an expandable section, following the same format as the Analyze Video page you just tried. When you swipe to a section, your screen reader tells you the video name, the date it was described, and which outputs are available.
If it is the video you are looking for, double tap to expand it. You can then watch the video, listen to the audio, or read the text. If it is not the video you want, swipe again to move directly to the next video.
You no longer need to swipe through the entire content of one row before reaching the next video. This concept has been applied to the three interfaces you are about to test. The differences between them are explained below.
